Motivation Audio Interview

Below, please find some feedback on your Audio Interview project. As mentioned previously, this process - i.e., inquiry on motivation using technology - was the major goal for this assignment, and we hope it inspired some "EPET"-like reflection. On the product side of things, in general the finished projects were fantastic - engaging and very thoughtful. We hope you agree and have had the chance to listen to some of your classmates' work.

The feedback below is brief, keeping in the spirit of the assignment, but was an attempt to assess both the content of the interviews and the technological aspects of production.

Content and organization Score = 10. Wonderful job! The major themes of creating success with motivation comes through very clearly, and you do a great job balancing Chris’ reflections and your own. I definitely agree with your assessment that you picked the right student- he is a very reflective teenager!

Continuity and Editing Score = Very nice. The transitions are smooth, and the music is a nice addition in the background.

Pace Score = 10. Great. Easy to understand both you and Chris.

Narration Score = 10. Again, very well done. You project well, and I especially liked how you asked different questions to Chris in order to allow him to reflect more, and also how you posed questions in your general reflections. Great job!

Total score: 40/40 --> One of only a three perfect scores. Well done!

You do a great job illustrating the problem with traditional teaching given the location (so to speak) of students currently, and then ask important questions and bring in great ideas as to why change is a must. You’ve inspired me! Your organization was great as well! - 10 pts

Continuity and Editing- Wonderful. Flawless editing, the flow was great, and the music and images match up perfectly. – 10 pts

Flow- The flow was great. The points followed each other nicely and made for a great story that you told. I especially liked the introduction with the children chattering, and then moving onto music. Nicely done – 10 pts
